Privacy policy

Adeola Forge is a design and development studio led by Adeola Ilori. This policy explains what we collect on adeolaforge.co.uk and what we do with it. Questions about your information go to adeola@adeolaforgehq.com.
What we collect
What you enter in our enquiry form: your name, business name, trade, country, mobile number, email address, website and message. We also record the page you sent it from and, if you arrived from one of our emails or adverts, the campaign tags in the link. To stop spam, we keep a scrambled, one-way version of your IP address, never the address itself.
Anything you send us by email or WhatsApp, or share when you book a call.
This site uses no advertising trackers or tracking cookies.
How we use it
To reply to you, understand your business, prepare a proposal and deliver the work. When you send the form, we text and email you an automatic reply about your enquiry. We never sell your information or add you to a marketing list.
Service providers
We use a small number of services to run the business. Each receives only what it needs:
- Cloudflare: hosting and cookie-free visit measurement
- Our server host: hosting our enquiry system, where your enquiry and our notes about it are stored
- Make.com: sending the automatic reply to your enquiry
- Anthropic (Claude): helping our team summarise your enquiry and draft your prototype brief. It receives your name, business, trade, country, website and message, not your phone number or email. A person on our team reviews everything before anything is sent to you.
- Google Workspace: enquiry records
- Zoho Mail: business email
- WhatsApp by Meta: WhatsApp messages
- Our text message provider: the automatic text reply
- Our scheduling tool: call bookings
Businesses we contact
We sometimes email trades businesses that we think we can help. We find them through public sources: OpenStreetMap, Companies House and the business’s own website. We keep the business name, website, the business email address and phone number it publishes, its town, its Companies House record, and notes from a check of its public website.
We only email registered companies at addresses they publish for business enquiries, and only about services relevant to their business. We rely on our legitimate interest in offering those services. Every email says where we found the address and how to opt out. If you reply ‘unsubscribe’ or use the link, we stop straight away and keep your address only on a do-not-contact list so it never happens again.
If we haven’t been in touch, we delete these records after 12 months. To see or delete what we hold about your business, email adeola@adeolaforgehq.com.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months unless you become a client. Client project records are kept for as long as the work needs and as legal and accounting rules require.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information by emailing adeola@adeolaforgehq.com. We reply within 30 days. In the UK you can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. Elsewhere, you can contact your local data protection authority.
Your prototype and your own accounts
Free prototypes run on our test system and are deleted if you don’t go ahead. If you become a client, your live system is set up on your own accounts, and those providers handle your customers’ data under your agreement with them.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll post the update on this page and change the date at the top.
